Professor Rob Delcanho originally graduated in Dentistry in 1978 from the University of Western Australia. In 1993 he was in the first cohort to complete the 2 year Orofacial Pain Residency Program and Masters degree in Oral Biology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
He maintains private practice restricted to Orofacial Pain, and Dental Sleep Medicine in Perth, Australia. Rob has published numerous scientific papers, acted as expert reviewer for a number of peer reviewed scientific journals and invited to write textbook chapters. A former President of the Australia New Zealand Academy of Orofacial Pain, he helped establish the on-line Masters Degree program in Orofacial Pain at the University of Sydney, and continues teaching there.
